IEA Aims for Political, Economic, and Cultural Relations with Neighbors and Region

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy prime minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), stated on Saturday that the visits of high-ranking IEA officials to various countries demonstrate the Emirate’s desire to engage with the world, including neighboring and regional countries.

Kabul 24: This engagement is based on establishing political, economic, and cultural relations.

Acting Minister Azizi Represents IEA at International Economic Meeting in Russia

Kabir’s remarks came during a meeting with Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, who recently traveled to Russia’s Tatarstan to participate in an international economic meeting. Azizi described his trip as highly successful, with achievements in the areas of exports and trade.

Russian Companies Express Interest in Investing in Afghanistan

According to Azizi, Russian companies and institutions showed keen interest in investing in Afghanistan during the visit. He assured the participants of the “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2024” that Afghanistan offers excellent investment opportunities.

15th Kazan Forum Brings Together Representatives from 80 Nations

The 15th edition of the Kazan Forum was held in Tatarstan, with representatives from 80 nations participating to discuss economic and social relations.

The forum provided a platform for the IEA to showcase its potential and attract foreign investment, as part of its broader strategy to engage with the international community.
