Afghanistan U19 cricket team defeated West Indies

Afghanistan’s Under-19 national cricket team defeated West Indies by a margin of 138 runs in their second match of the World Cup.The match was played on Sunday, January 18, 2026 (28 Jadi) in Namibia.

Kabul24: In this match, Afghanistan batted first and scored 262 runs, setting a target of 263 runs for West Indies.West Indies were bowled out for 124 runs in 34 overs and lost the match by 138 runs.

Afghanistan, who are in Group D of this tournament, took the top spot in the table with this victory.

Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team had previously defeated South Africa in their first match of the World Cup.Afghanistan’s next match will be played on Wednesday this week against Tanzania.
