Extortion and Theft from Elderly and Afghan Migrants by Three Iranians in Shahr-e Rey

Three Iranian individuals, posing as fake police officers, have been reported to be extorting and stealing from elderly people and Afghan migrants in the Shahr-e Rey area.

Kabul 24: Using counterfeit police equipment, they allegedly intimidated victims and stole their belongings, including mobile phones, bank cards, and valuable items.

According to posts on social media, these three individuals, described as having a distinctive appearance, were active in the Shahr-e Rey region. The Shahr-e Rey Police Department has urged victims or anyone affected by similar incidents to file complaints at the local police station.

Authorities in Shahr-e Rey have stated that investigations to identify and apprehend these individuals are ongoing, and they have called on the public to cooperate by providing any relevant information
