Islamic Emirate Rejects Pakistan’s Claim of Afghan Soil Being Used Against It

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has firmly rejected fresh claims by Pakistan’s military leadership that Afghan territory is being used to launch attacks against Pakistan.

Kabul 24: In response to recent statements by Pakistan’s Chief of Defense, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, strongly denied the allegations and emphasized that the group will not allow Afghan soil to be used against any country.

Mujahid described preventing the misuse of Afghan territory as a core part of the Emirate’s foreign policy and national interests. “The soil of Afghanistan will not be used against any country, and the Islamic Emirate is serious about this,” he said. “This is part of our strategy and national interests. Our policy is clear: we will not permit anyone to use Afghan soil against any country, including Pakistan.”The remarks come amid renewed tensions between Kabul and Islamabad.

Pakistani officials have repeatedly accused groups operating from inside Afghanistan of carrying out cross-border attacks, particularly in border regions.

Afghan authorities, however, dismiss these claims as baseless and argue they are intended to shift attention from Pakistan’s own internal security failures.Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kabul expressed some security concerns but reiterated his country’s commitment to maintaining brotherly ties with Afghanistan.

In a related development, Akhtar Khan Achakzai, leader of the National Awami Party in Balochistan, criticized Islamabad’s policies and warned that the government is pushing the country toward a new religious conflict. “We believe our scholars are wise, thoughtful, and responsible,” he said. “The government is trying to drag this country into a new religious war.

God forbid that fatwas are issued from Afghanistan against our scholars or vice versa, plunging the region into fresh tragedy.”Political analysts believe Pakistan is using such accusations to deflect blame for its domestic security shortcomings.

They warn that continued unsubstantiated claims could further damage bilateral relations between Kabul and Islamabad, casting a shadow over trade, economic cooperation, and border security.Observers note that stability in Afghanistan and Pakistan is deeply interconnected.

Any escalation in tensions could harm the interests of both nations. The Islamic Emirate has expressed readiness for security cooperation with Pakistan, provided that baseless allegations cease and both sides engage on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests.
