The fourth season of the Afghanistan Premier Futsal League concluded on Friday with a thrilling and decisive match between Sadaqat FC and Noorzad FC, determining the champion of the season.
Kabul 24: In an electrifying encounter, Sadaqat FC showcased a remarkable performance, particularly in the second half, securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Noorzad FC to claim the coveted title.
This triumph highlighted the team’s technical prowess, determination, and exceptional teamwork, cementing their dominance in the league.The closing ceremony, held at the Afghanistan Football Federation’s Futsal Committee Gymnasium, also celebrated individual excellence.
Akbar Kazemi, the standout star of Sadaqat FC, was named the Best Player of 2024 in Afghan futsal. Kazemi further distinguished himself by scoring 25 goals, earning the prestigious Top Scorer award for the season. His pivotal role was instrumental in Sadaqat FC’s championship success.
Seyed Morteza Hosseini from Piroozi Panjshir FC was honored as the Best Young Player of 2024, signaling a promising future for the young talent. Hussein Afshar, head coach of Noorzad FC, was recognized as the Best Coach of 2024, while Mohammad Jawad Safari was awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the year.
The fourth season of the Afghanistan Premier Futsal League featured 10 competitive teams: Sadaqat FC, Noorzad FC, Omid FC, Zaytoon FC, Zahir Asad FC, Ettehad FC, Jawanan-e-Mihan, Diar Sanai, Aria Forge, and Piroozi Panjshir. Kicking off on June 6, the season comprised 90 matches played in a home-and-away format for the first time, elevating the level of competition and excitement.
Hosted at the Futsal Committee Gymnasium, the matches drew significant attention from futsal enthusiasts across the country.This achievement marks a significant milestone not only for Sadaqat FC but also for Afghan futsal, promising a bright future for the sport in Afghanistan.
